Our Philosophy

The core of our philosophy is that people should be able to access the information they need without a lot of hassle and without large learning curves - and companies should not be limited by the tools that they deploy to their people.

enCorps takes a completely different approach to handling collaborative work. This is apparent from your first look at the user interface. Users are presented immediately with the work they are responsible for. Multiple items can be opened at once, without opening separate browser windows. The main interface for querying enCorps is a pivot table that allows people to get at information easily and change and to "slice and dice" their view of it.

enCorps does not trap you into its way of doing things. It is configurable for any process, any number of constituents, and any way that you can think of to organize work.

Our Values

Beyond the user interface, enCorps’ core difference lies in the values that we have used in its development. These values have driven enCorps to be the most effective platform for managing collaborative work available on the market:

People First - Since it is people who get the work done, enCorps puts them first by making it easy to get work done and quickly access the information they need to do it. When people have the tools they need to manage their work, they can execute effectively.

Execution is Everything – Too many projects have failed because of tunnel vision focus on the project plan, while ignoring the real issues preventing success. Getting it done is what it’s all about.

Clarity of Context – The tools that people use today are effective at dispersing information and keeping it siloed. E-mail, network drives, issue reporting tools, status spreadsheets all keep information distinctly unconnected. enCorps integrates that information issue-by-issue so that when people receive a message or a work request, it is connected directly to the work they are doing.

Visibility and Accessibility – Dispersed and siloed information is not only out of context, but it is difficult to share with others in any meaningful way. By making all information visible and accessible to everyone who needs it, people no longer have to spin their wheels searching for the right information or waiting for it to be delivered to them.

Enterprise Memory – After a project is complete, many times teams abandon the knowledge created or it becomes lost on some network drive. We believe this represents a waste of resources because that knowledge cannot be leveraged for re-use in the future. By retaining that knowledge, it can become a key asset of the enterprise that can provide a platform for future improvement and distinctiveness in the marketplace.

Global Reach – People should not be limited where they can work by their physical location. People should be able to access information no matter where they are and transform that information into value.

Process Agnostic – Companies should not be limited in what they can do by the tools that they deliver to end-users. Teams should be able to work in the way that best facilitates their effective execution.
